Clothing Exchange

Is your closet full of clothes that are too big? Or, are you are in need of smaller sized clothing-
something to wear for a short time while you continue to lose weight?

If so....

Come to our first Clothing Exchange meeting.  The exchange will take place during the last 10 minutes of our regularly scheduled meeting on November 18th.  This is an opportunity to find something "new" in your size to take home. It's also a chance to clean out your closet and provide someone else with something "new".

Ingredients:

1 can tuna (canned in water, drained)

1/4 cup liquid egg substi-tute or 1 egg

3 soda crackers, crushed

Shredded cheese (optional)

Exercise Tip of the Month

Here are two wonderful exercises to tone your shoulders. Not only will your shoulder muscles get stronger, but your bones will benefit. Your metabolism also increases when you increase your muscle mass.

These exercises can be done seated or standing. Each repetition should be done slowly and through the entire range of motion. Remember to breathe regularly as you do each lift. Relax your neck muscles.

Lateral Shoulder Raise

Front Shoulder Raise

Work toward 10-15 repetitions, 3 times per week!!!
